Bio

I have been working as a freelance photojournalist since 1999 and I have been based in Washington, DC since 2003. I am formally educated in history. While working with newspapers, magazines, agencies and other media outlets I have covered many subjects and stories locally, domestically and around the world over the years. Covering elections, general news, disasters, sports and conflict has left me with an interesting collection of experiences to draw upon while conducting my day to day work as a journalist. These experiences, combined with my equipment, and technical knowledge, give me the ability to work and report in nearly every situation around the world.
